Main Research Activities

 

Nano-optics : theory of near-field optical microscopy, single-molecule fluorescence, surface waves (plasmon and phonon polaritons), coherent thermal emission of light (theory and experiments).

 

Light propagation and imaging in scattering media :radiative transfer equation, diffusion approximation, intensity fluctuations, coherence theory.
